I’m still smiling over Allyson and Jim’s wedding—what a spectacular day. The ceremony at the John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen was perfect in its simplicity and natural beauty. Surrounded by mountain views, native wildflowers, and the gentle flow of the Roaring Fork River, they exchanged vows with family and friends close by. And as they walked back down the aisle, guests showered them with aspen leaves—such a soft, meaningful touch that felt so true to the setting and to who they are.

Then came the best surprise: a second‑line style walk—think a festive musical procession—from the Sanctuary into downtown Aspen, all the way to Bosq. Allyson and Jim danced their way down the street alongside friends and family, everyone grinning and laughing in perfect rhythm. We rolled right into cocktail hour and lunch at Bosq, Aspen’s only Michelin‑starred restaurant, offering an intimate and elegant tasting menu that truly elevated the vibe. If you’re considering a Bosq wedding reception, just know: it’s a whole experience.

After that, we snuck into the historic Hotel Jerome for some portraits—those moody walls and refined interiors made for dramatic, timeless shots of the two of them. And to cap it off? The reception at Bad Harriet, where the DJ (DJ Savy) had everyone on their feet, and Jen Hartley from Aspen Event Solutions orchestrated every moment so smoothly you’d barely notice she was working—and yet everything clicked beautifully. Allyson and Jim danced the night away, and I loved capturing all of that raw connection and joy.
